Avery Lu is Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer at Palo Alto Scientific, Inc., a sports science analytics/wearables company. He is deeply involved in the startup eco-system as an advisor/mentor/entrepreneur-in-residence at local technology incubators/accelerators, and serves on several industry/academic boards and professional societies. Avery has keynoted at global conferences and been quoted in multiple market research reports on IoT and Wearable Technology.
Over the course of his career in Silicon Valley’s high tech/semiconductor industries, Avery has held various senior roles in Business Development, Segment Marketing, Product Marketing, Global Account Management & Field Applications Engineering, working for companies like NXP, Infineon and Toshiba, where he was responsible for a wide range of technologies addressing such vertical markets as mobile, tablet, computing, consumer electronics, industrial, telecom, utility, automotive, medical, and military working with Fortune 500 clients.
In his free time, Avery serves as a STEM technical advisor and robotics Instructor at various Silicon Valley afterschool programs. He holds a B.S. Electrical Engineering degree from Santa Clara University and Marketing Management Certificate from UCSC Silicon Valley Extension.
